Gordon's Garden Tea Room Is Now Open

After 3 months of being closed we are now looking forward to opening our doors and welcoming back our customers. Gordon’s Garden Tea Room Todmorden will open on Saturday 4th July. Our opening times have been reviewed and we will now be open between 10am and 4pm Monday – Saturday and 11am and 4 pm on a Sunday. Bottoms Mill’s Cotton Weaver Cafe and Gordon’s Bistro at our Rochdale branch will remain closed for now.

In response to the risk of transmission of covid-19 we have made some changes to the way in which we operate to ensure the safety of our staff and customers

We will be operating a new, reduced menu to allow fewer staff in our kitchens

Our tables will be socially distanced to approximately 2 meters apart

There will be a maximum of 4 people per table

Windows and doors will be open as much as possible for ventilation

You will be greeted by a member of staff wearing a visor, shown to a table and 1 person from the party will be invited to place the order at the counter behind a protective screen. Where possible, the rest of the party must remain seated.

Hand sanitizer is available upon arrival to our restaurants which we encourage customers to use

Contactless / card payment is preferred

All food and drinks will be delivered to the tables by a member of staff

All tables and chairs will be cleaned after each party as left

We will also be collecting customer contact details and retaining the information securely for 21 days in line with the governments test and trace policy to assist with any local out breaks of covid-19.

This is a new experience for all of us and although we have put safety measures in place, we do ask that customers assist us by being individually responsible and adhering to government guidance.
