Plant fruit trees & bushes, any time the ground is not water-logged or frozen, to give you a delicious harvest for years to come

Continue to remove fallen leaves with a rake or besom, collecting them into a sack to rot into leaf mould.

Still time to spike your lawn if you have problems with moss or bad drainage, use an aerator or garden fork.

In cold weather keep a well-stocked bird table or feeder.   Keep feeding areas clean with bird-safe disinfectant
